Setlists: build your set and play it in order
A setlist in Stage Friend is your songs in the order you'll play them, one for each gig or rehearsal, with the length of every set added up for you. Once it's built, it leads you from song to song on stage, and you can print it for the floor or send it to the band. The free plan has three setlists per band, and Solo Pro and Stage Pro have as many as you like.

Your setlistsA setlist in Stage Friend is a named list of songs from your library, in the order you'll play them, split into sets if the night has breaks. You make one for a gig, a rehearsal or a party, fill it with songs and drag them into place. Every set adds up its own length, so you can tell before the night whether it fits the time you've been given.Open a setlist · Create a setlist · Add songs to it · Add a song from its own menu · Change the order · Move a song with your finger · Remove a song from the setlist · Split it into sets · Rename, copy or delete a setlistPlaying a setlistTo play a setlist in Stage Friend, open its first song and swipe left for the next one, so the set leads the way in the order you built it. That means no scrolling through your library between songs while the drummer counts in. On a phone or tablet, a small label can tell you which song comes next and its key, and a Bluetooth page turner pedal changes songs without your hands leaving the guitar.Play the set · See which song is next · Change song with a page turner pedalExportStage Friend can turn a setlist into a PDF to print or share, an image for the band chat, a plain list of titles or a Spotify playlist. So the sheet taped to the stage floor and the message to the drummer who never has the setlist come from the same place. Everything is under Export in the setlist's three dots, and it works on every plan, the free one too.Print it, or share a PDF · Choose what the setlist PDF shows · Share it as an image · Copy the song list · Make a Spotify playlistRehearsal listThe rehearsal list in Stage Friend is your band's shared pile of songs to practise, with a note on how well you know each one. Everyone in the band sees the same list, so the question of what to run at the next rehearsal has an answer before you plug in. When a song sits, you tick it off and it moves out of the way. Putting songs on the list and working through it needs Solo Pro or Stage Pro.Add a song to the rehearsal list · The rehearsal list · Mark how well you know a song · Let Stage Friend pick what to rehearseSong drawThe song draw in Stage Friend picks the next song for you at random, with a short game while it spins. It's for the moment at rehearsal when nobody wants to choose, and for gigs where the crowd likes a bit of suspense, since the draw fills the screen and can also play on a TV or projector at the venue. At a gig it leaves out the songs you've already checked off as played, so a song you've done can't come up again.Start a draw · Choose the game and what to draw from
Questions
- Can my band see my setlist as I change it?
- Yes, in a band whose owner has Solo Pro or Stage Pro, a setlist is on every member's screen, and a change reaches them within seconds, whatever plan they're on. On the free plan your own bands stay on the device you use. On stage, Follow opens the song the leader opens on everyone's screen.
